Over the last decade, I’ve interviewed a lot of craftspeople. And without fail, they are passionate about their profession — and always a little surprised that anyone wants to interview them. Meet Me at Crafty is designed to change that. We want to be a destination for crafts across film and TV, an outlet that everyone is excited to talk to because we take the work seriously, even (and especially) the work that often flies under the radar. Set dressers, stand-ins, sound mixers, makeup departments: Everything is on the table because everything is contributing to the ultimate success of a project. And every type of project is on the table, from reality competition shows to the newest prestige drama.

Look for in-depth features about careers, trailer posts that highlight the department heads, quick hits about hyper-specific aspects of a design, and more — all filtered through an exuberant curiosity and a sense of fun.
